In the process of thinning the cornea in Lasik, the nerves that make tears and for sensation are also removed.

That is why Lasik is not advised for patients with dry eyes. If you already have dry eyes from contacts, do not choose Lasik. The dry eyes will become permanent.

What options do you have if you already have dry eyes? Choose an option that would not make your dry eyes worse.
